Cub Club – Extended Day Program Guidelines

Hope Academy offers a morning and afterschool program (Cub Club) for Lower School scholars who require extended day support due to work or other family needs. Please note that Cub Club is a structured program created to support families who need extended care due to work or other responsibilities. It is not intended for casual or optional after-school social time. As a reminder, here are some of our program guidelines:

All school behavior expectations remain in effect during Cub Club hours.

  • Cell phones and personal electronic devices are not permitted.
  • Behavior concerns will be addressed in alignment with school-day protocols.
  • Chronic behavior issues may result in temporary or permanent dismissal from the program.

Parents/guardians are expected to pick up their scholars on time. If an extenuating circumstance arises, and pick-up will be after the final 5:30 PM deadline, it is essential that families communicate directly with Cub Club staff.

  • A late fee of $10 per 15 minutes will be charged for pick-ups after 5:30 PM.
  • Cub Club closes promptly at 6:00 PM. Parents are responsible to provide and communicate with Cub Club staff any special arrangements made for their scholar to ensure a no later than 6pm pickup.
  • Repeated late pick-ups may result in the loss of Cub Club privileges.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office directly. Thank you for your partnership in supporting a safe and structured environment for all scholars!

Here Comes the Bus App: Important Update

Until now, Hope Academy has partnered with Minneapolis Public Schools to utilize the app "here comes the bus." Minneapolis Public Schoos is now changing their GPS systems and therefore the Here Comes the Bus app will not be available for the remainder of the school year.

If your child's bus is late or not coming, please call the MPS Dispatch 612-668-2300 or call Hope Academy Transportation at 612-540-2820 and we will do our best to help you. Thank you for your patience in this change.

Can't Log Into SchoolPass?

Can't Log In to SchoolPass? Follow these helpful steps:

1. Call the Main Office so we can reset your password. Confirm with us the email that the school has on file for you. We know the "Forgot Password" feature isn't working on the app for parents/guardians.

2. Check your email for a temporary password sent from noreply-6294@schoolpass.com and login to the app.

3. Once you're in the app, change your password from the temporary password, to something you'll remember. If you don't change your password, the temporary password will expire and you'll get locked out of the app again.
