Senior Pictures and Tributes due 2/1!

Senior tributes are due February 1st! Parent of seniors - please share with us a special tribute to your son/daughter that will be featured in the yearbook. We ask for it to be only 2-3 paragraphs long. This will be such a special keepsake for them. After you click below, you will see a space to write out your tribute, and a link to upload your photos. Please include a baby or childhood photo along with their Senior Picture.

Reading at Home

There is a significant amount of evidence showing the positive impact of reading at home. A study by the American Educational Research Association (AERA) found that children who were read to regularly at home not only performed better in early reading assessments but also had higher achievement scores throughout their school years. Early exposure to books and literacy practices correlates with long-term academic success. Keep striving to read, read, read!

As you seek to read more with your child, these things can help.

  • When you read together, sometimes have your child read to you, and sometimes, you read to them.  Both build literacy.
  • Have a reading routine at home that includes a place you read, a time you read (maybe at bedtime), and a routine of what you do when you read together. Stuffed animals and pets love to join reading time!
  • Talk with your child about the book you read together. Ask questions and make observations. Predict what might happen in the story.
  • Give the listener a job to do while the story is being read, like thinking of two questions about the story, or drawing a picture of what is happening in the story.
  • Have a “treasure hunt” in the book to find 1 to 3 words that your child doesn’t know.  Share what the words mean.

We are excited to continue to partner with you in this journey!  We will be completing the Home Help Checklist Surveys again at parent-teacher conferences in February.  Let’s keep working together!

Can't Log Into SchoolPass?

Can't Log In to SchoolPass? Follow these helpful steps:

1. Call the Main Office so we can reset your password. Confirm with us the email that the school has on file for you. We know the "Forgot Password" feature isn't working on the app for parents/guardians.

2. Check your email for a temporary password sent from noreply-6294@schoolpass.com and login to the app.

3. Once you're in the app, change your password from the temporary password, to something you'll remember. If you don't change your password, the temporary password will expire and you'll get locked out of the app again.

4. Still need help, stop by the Main Office and we'll assist you in person.

  • You can mark absences in advance if needed.
  • All changes to dismissal plans need to be made in the app by 3:00 pm.
  • There are no early releases after 3:30 pm daily.
  • Students will only be called from class when their parent/guardian is at school for them. Please plan an extra 10 minutes into your schedule so we have time to locate your student and send them to the office.
