Parent-Teacher Conferences are on February 12-13! Here are some details to note before your conference:
We look forward to seeing you!
There is NO SCHOOL February 16th & 17th due to President's Day and staff development. Enjoy your days off!
Parents and their seniors are invited to join us for a College & Career Information Night on Monday, February 23rd at 6:30pm. This event is designed to support both students and families as graduation approaches. We will discuss applying for scholarships, understanding your financial aid package, graduation information, and preparing for the transition to college or career pathways. The evening will also address the financial considerations and the emotional realities that often come with this exciting—and sometimes challenging—season of change.
We will also introduce our Graduate Support Office, which continues to walk alongside our students for three years after graduation and beyond. We look forward to partnering with you as we prepare our seniors for a strong and supported future!
The Lower School Reading Race is January 19th- February 19th! Reading minutes can be earned through independent reading, reading to others, being read to, reading games, and storytelling. Students will turn in their tracker every Monday and receive a new one for the following week.
Be sure to watch the kickoff video below with your student!
As we continue to navigate a season with many daily changes, we are asking for your help to ensure dismissal runs safely and smoothly for everyone.
All dismissal changes must be entered into SchoolPass no later than 2:59 PM.
Please note that emails, phone calls, or verbal messages to teachers or staff cannot replace entering changes in SchoolPass.
When this procedure is not followed, it creates safety concerns for students and staff and places unnecessary strain on our dismissal teams. Using SchoolPass consistently allows us to account for every student and get them home safely.
We truly appreciate your partnership and cooperation in:
Thank you for working with us to care well for our students and community.

Kindergarten parents are required classes that meet the first Tuesday of the month for an hour at Hope Academy or virtually on the first Wednesday of the month. Classes are led by Dr. Darrell Gillespie and cover topics like sibling rivalry, tough conversations, community building and much more! They will go from October - May. Students do not need to attend. One or both parents may attend the sessions.
Upcoming dates: Tuesday, March 3rd & March, February 4th (zoom).
To ensure the safety of all students, any parent who wishes to enter a classroom during the school day (for volunteering, events, birthdays, chaperoning, lunch visits, etc.) must first complete a free background check at the front desk. Please bring a photo ID to complete this process as soon as possible. The background check must be completed 48 hours before your visit. Background checks must be completed every school year.
We appreciate your partnership in keeping our school safe and welcoming for every child.
At Hope Academy, we have a number of groups for parents to connect, grow, and encourage one another. We invite you to join one of our parent groups this fall:
