Get ready for Spirit Week at Hope Academy! Next week, students are invited to show their school spirit by dressing up for each themed day. Students may be out of uniform if they are participating in the dress-up theme for that day.
Here are the themes for each day:
Thanks to 212 generous donaors, we are very close to reaching our campaign goal to fund the new high school, competition gym, and chapel auditorium and we want to make sure we don't let anyone miss out on the joy of giving! To finish strong, we’re inviting our students to join the fun with a special challenge THIS WEEK, November 17-21.
LOWER SCHOOL:
Lower School students are encouraged to bring pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, or dollar bills to help support our future chapel space. Classes will compete to see which grade can raise the most money and the winning grade earns a no uniform day!
UPPER SCHOOL:
Our Houses will compete against each other to see who can raise the most money. This will all be explained to students on Monday November 17th in a morning meeting!
Thank you for your participation! Stay tuned to learn in the coming weeks how parents can get involved as well!
It’s almost time to re-enroll your child for next school year! Re-enrollment opens November 24 with a special promotion for families who complete both their re-enrollment form and deposit between November 24–December 5.
Families who complete re-enrollment during this window will receive a $50 discount and pay a deposit of only $25!
Re-enrollment includes two steps:
• Completing the re-enrollment form
• Paying the non-refundable deposit
Re-Enrollment is what reserves your student’s spot for next year – if you do not complete it on time, your student’s spot will be made available to new incoming students.
Need help or want to turn in your deposit in person? Parent-Teacher Conferences are a perfect time to stop by the Admissions table for assistance or to submit your deposit.
Questions? Contact us at admissions@hopeschool.org or 612-540-2013.
There will be NO SCHOOL Wednesday, November 26- Friday, November 28 due to Thanksgiving. Enjoy your time off!
To ensure the safety of all students, any parent who wishes to enter a classroom during the school day (for volunteering, events, birthdays, chaperoning, lunch visits, etc.) must first complete a free background check at the front desk. Please bring a photo ID to complete this process as soon as possible. The background check must be completed 48 hours before your visit. Background checks must be completed every year.
Effective immediately:
We appreciate your partnership in keeping our school safe and welcoming for every child.

If a senior portrait is not uploaded by that date, your student’s JPIX school photo will be used instead (if available). Please read the following instructions carefully to ensure your student’s portrait is included in the yearbook:
Portraits must be submitted in JPEG format, at 300 DPI or higher, and must be a vertical head-and-shoulder shot (horizontal photos will not be accepted). Backgrounds should be simple or neutral, though outdoor photos are allowed. The file size must not exceed 50 MB.

At Hope Academy, our school uniform reflects unity, belonging, and a commitment to excellence. Wearing the correct uniform each day communicates a readiness to learn and fosters community.
This year, we want to emphasize one area in particular: shoes. For Lower School students. As stated in the Lower School Parent Handbook, students must wear solid black athletic shoes every day. Please see the attached Uniform Flyer for details and images.
We recognize that this has been a challenge in the past, and that enforcement has not always been consistent over the years. Moving forward, we will be more intentional in upholding this standard. To support families, we are providing a grace period. All Lower School students must have the correct all black athletic shoes by Monday, January 5, 2026 (the first day after Christmas break).
We appreciate your partnership as we work together to uphold consistent expectations for all students.
Updated grades for your student are ready for you every Tuesday! Click below to check your student's grades.
