Upper School Parent Involvement Day is this Saturday, March 14th at 9am! Parent Involvement Day is a time to see firsthand what your student is learning. Please keep the following details in mind:
Families of 10th and 12th grade students, be sure to attend our mandatory mission trip meeting on Saturday, March 14th immediately following Upper School Parent Involvement Day. We will meet from 11am-12pm to discuss final details of the trip and answer any remaining questions you may have. Here are a few reminders as you prepare for the trip:
Due to construction of our new Chapel Performance Hall, there will be a change to morning drop-off beginning Today, March 9. Morning parent drop-off will move to Door 32, located in the parking lot between the Upper School Courtyard and E. 22nd Street. Drop-off times will remain the same (7:45–9:50 am).
This change is necessary due to several large construction deliveries scheduled on E. 22nd St. during morning hours. To ensure safety and improve traffic flow, we are relocating drop-off away from the active work zone. Afternoon pick-up will remain on E 22nd St. as it currently operates.
Staff members and signage will be present to help direct you to the correct door during the transition.
Thank you for your flexibility and partnership as we prioritize safety during this season of construction!
10th grade students will be taking the pre-ACT this Wednesday, March 11th at 10am in chapel. As your student prepares for the test, itis important that they get a good nights sleep the night before, eat and good breakfast, and be on time. Good luck sophomores!
5th grade students and parents, please join us for 5th to 6th grade info night on March 9th,5-6:30pm. Our program will run 5-6:30pm with dinner provided. For more information, please refer to your an email from Andrew Pearce.
Join us on March 19th, 6-8pm to celebrate the work of our high school students in their Hope Paths electives! This open-house event will feature demonstrations, performances, galleries of student and teacher art, children’s activities, and more. Come enjoy the many good things God is doing in and through our students and stay as long as you wish.
The Showcase is open to the whole family and will take place in the high school café and surrounding common areas.
We will also be supporting a local food shelf through Open Bowls. For a donation, you may choose a handmade ceramic bowl and fill it with soup, or purchase soup in a paper bowl. Proceeds will benefit our community partner.
The Parent Ambassadors are kindly organizing a snack and beverage station for our teachers as they prepare for the HopePATHS showcase! If you are a high school parent/guardian and you would like to contribute with money or food towards a snack and beverage station, please click the link below to sign up. Thank you for blessing our teachers in this way!

What a blessing it is that we can gather at Hope Academy for Parent Involvement Day. Parent Involvement Day is a vital opportunity to deepen the partnership between home and school, strengthening parent–teacher and parent–child relationships so that every child thrives academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
In times like these, it is critical that parents play a role and understand deeply what is being poured into their children daily. By equipping parents with practical tools, knowledge, and confidence, we empower them to be healthy, active participants in their child’s education and to lead with wisdom and love in their homes and communities.
Deuteronomy 6:6–7 reads, “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road.” Moses’ charge to keep God’s commandments “on your hearts” and to teach them continually in everyday settings directly parallels Parent Involvement Day’s goal of equipping you all to integrate faith, values, and learning into daily family life.
Join us for Parent Involvement Day so you can learn simple, faith-filled ways to speak truth and love in your child’s daily life, turning ordinary moments into lasting spiritual formation. Your presence strengthens the partnership between home and school, equipping you to lead with confidence and model Godly priorities for your family. We cannot wait to see you there!
~ Dr. G, Head of Family Ministry

Kindergarten parents are required classes that meet the first Tuesday of the month for an hour at Hope Academy or virtually on the first Wednesday of the month. Classes are led by Dr. Darrell Gillespie and cover topics like sibling rivalry, tough conversations, community building and much more! They will go from October - May. Students do not need to attend. One or both parents may attend the sessions.
Upcoming dates: Tuesday, April 7th & Wednesday, April 8th (zoom).
To ensure the safety of all students, any parent who wishes to enter a classroom during the school day (for volunteering, events, birthdays, chaperoning, lunch visits, etc.) must first complete a free background check at the front desk. Please bring a photo ID to complete this process as soon as possible. The background check must be completed 48 hours before your visit. Background checks must be completed every school year.
We appreciate your partnership in keeping our school safe and welcoming for every child.
