The Graduate Support Coordinator plays a vital role in helping Hope Academy graduates thrive in their transition from high school into college, career, and adulthood. This person builds and maintains strong relationships with alumni after graduation, providing mentorship, encouragement, and guidance as they navigate life beyond Hope. The Coordinator also leads the Covenant Graduate Mentorship Program (a three-year capstone mentorship journey for graduates), oversees alumni communication, and plans alumni-focused events. In addition, the Coordinator begins engaging students in their senior year of high school, laying the foundation for successful postsecondary transitions. Working closely with the Director of College, Career & Graduate Support and the College, Career & Graduate Support team, this role ensures that every graduate continues to experience Hope’s Christ-centered care and investment beyond high school.
Salary range is $58,000-$65,000 based on qualifications and years of experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Graduate & Alumni Engagement (Primary)
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with graduates for their first three years post-graduation.
- Provide consistent mentorship, encouragement, and coaching to help graduates thrive in education, career, and spiritual life.
- Lead the Covenant Graduate Mentorship Program, including mentor recruitment, onboarding, mentor/mentee matching, communication, and monthly engagement.
- Track graduate engagement and outcomes, including persistence in school, employment progress, and spiritual/community connections.
- Develop communication pieces for alumni (newsletters, prayer updates, job opportunities, event invitations, etc.).
Senior Year Preparation (Secondary)
- Connect with students in their senior year to prepare them for post-graduation transitions.
- Support seniors in identifying postsecondary goals and navigating application processes.
- Participate in Covenant signings and help students understand postsecondary expectations.
Event Planning & Coordination
- Lead the vision and execution of graduate-focused events (Homecoming, Alumni Celebration, Covenant Graduate Celebration, etc.).
- Develop event content/themes aligned with Hope Academy’s mission.
- Serve as a welcoming host and relational connector at alumni events.
Collaboration & Administration
- Support reporting for leadership and donors, including outcome data and graduate stories.
- Collaborate closely with the College & Career team to ensure smooth transitions between high school and post-graduation support.
- Participate in team meetings, prayer, and community life at Hope Academy.
- Support the Operations Assistant in maintaining accurate alumni records, mentorship logs, and program data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep, personal commitment to Christ and alignment with Hope Academy’s mission.
- Relationally gifted; passionate about youth, alumni, and mentorship.
- Proven experience mentoring or coaching young people through education plans and life transitions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow through on commitments.
- Familiarity with the Common App preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, with some evening/weekend events
- Primarily on-site at Hope Academy with occasional off-site visits to connect with alumni.
