Hope Academy is a private, Christ-centered school serving a beautifully diverse community in the heart of urban Minneapolis. We are seeking a passionate, faith-filled Part-Time Math Interventionist (.133 FTE) to provide support and instruction to students who are struggling with math. This position is a federally-funded position.

Job Details

This is a posting for an 8th Grade Math Position with Title I for the 2025-26 school year. The position is a 5.33 hour/week position. With transition time, the math class runs from 1:43 – 2:37 most days, with 10 minutes of prep allotted per day. The pay rate is $30-$40/hour based on experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier II small group instruction to students who are identified as at-risk in math
  • Use evidence-based strategies and interventions to support student learning
  • Use progress monitor to assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students receive the support they need
  • Attend Title staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

  • Minimum BS or BA in Education or related field
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid teaching license in good standing preferred
  • Training in intervention methods strongly preferred; please provide certificates
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
