Hope Academy is a private, Christ-centered school serving a beautifully diverse community in the heart of urban Minneapolis. We are seeking a passionate, faith-filled Part-Time Math Interventionist to provide support and instruction to students who are struggling with math. This position is a federally funded position.

Job Details

This is a posting for a 6th - 8th Grade Math Position with Title I for the 2026-27 school year. The position is a 13.3 hour/week position, 2 days a week (Thursday and Friday), from 9:55 – 4:25. The pay rate is $28-$35/hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Title Math Interventionist in providing Tier II small group instruction to students who are identified as at-risk for math
  • Use evidence-based strategies and interventions to support student learning
  • Use progress monitor to assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students receive the support they need
  • Attend Title staff meetings and professional development opportunities when possible

Faculty Qualifications

  • Minimum BS or BA in Education, Mathematics, or Related Field
  • Valid teaching license in good standing preferred
  • Training in intervention methods strongly preferred; please provide certificates
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
